    Very hard to get to for camping. Must portage in up a steep water slide. Unload car, reload canoe, unload to portage, carry portage, reload canoe, paddle to point that may already be occupied. Limited camping facilities. Parking is not secure.

    We came here with a tent. It wasn't great for tent camping. I understand they only have a few sites for tents. It was a small lot with no real coverage and was right on the main driving road, so not a lot of privacy or room to let the kids run. But it did seem like an excellent place to bring an RV. The beach was great with a long sandy walk out. The play areas and beach weren't crowded at all, even though it was a long weekend. If I ever did go back to the area, I would stay here again, but with an RV this time.
